Celery Juice

Celery juice is a favorite recipe for juicers. A couple of celery stalks cut into a few different pieces so the go into the juicer easily and your ready to go.

At a constant speed feed in the stalk pieces holding the tamper down for only a few seconds at a time. Celery will tend to clog a juicer up so go slow and if necessary rinse the machine. Add a piece or two of ice if chilling is desired, drink and enjoy.

Straight Carrot Juice

Another of the most favored recipies for juicers is straight carrot juice. Its popularity comes from a combination of ease and health benefits. A couple of carrots juiced one at a time until the desired amount of juice is made and your done.

It is not necessary to peel the carrots first and probably should be avoided because of the amount of nutrients in the skin. If you have one of the models that cleans the food for you then you don’t even have to do that. It is best to drink carrot juice right away as it tends to seperate as it sits.

Carrot Anise Drink

A popular and distinct recipe is this variation on carrot juice. Still quick and easy but this recipe for juicers introduces the benefits of anise.

Blend in this order:   1) 8 carrots   2) 2 anise stalks   3) 3-4 celery stalks   4) 2 apples  5) 1/2 lime

As always add ice if chilling is desired, have a friend join you and enjoy.
